In a groundbreaking step for the future of entertainment, Avtr Meta Labs, a Concept Communication Group initiative and India’s pioneering digital human and AI content company, has unveiled ‘Truth & Lies’ an innovative AI-led micro-drama series starring India’s first AI superstar, Naina Avtr.
Presented by Nature4Nature as the Title Sponsor, the 12-episode series seamlessly blends powerful storytelling with emerging technologies like 3D and artificial intelligence, marking a first in Indian digital entertainment where an AI character takes the lead in a complete drama series.
According to a press release issued by Avtr Meta Labs, ‘Truth & Lies’ unfolds over a single, high-stakes night in Mumbai, offering a gripping and fast-paced narrative told through cinematic episodes just over a minute long. Designed specifically for Instagram Reels, the show reimagines storytelling for the Gen Z audience, capturing the essence of friendship, betrayal, and the blurred boundaries between truth and deception. Despite its short format, each episode delivers the emotional depth and tension of a full-length drama, reflecting the evolving dynamics of digital storytelling.
In a creative milestone, the entire series has been produced by an all-female crew, underscoring Avtr Meta Labs’ commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and diversity in the digital era.

Speaking about the launch, Abhishek Razdan, Co-founder and CEO of Avtr Meta Labs and the creative force behind Naina, said, “Naina made waves as India’s first AI influencer, captivating audiences with her distinct personality and digital charm. Now, as she steps into the spotlight as an actor, this debut is truly special it marks a bold new chapter in AI-driven storytelling. Naina isn’t just an AI character; she’s a creative revolution. We wanted to craft a being who reflects our emotional complexities while showcasing how technology can mirror humanity in beautiful, unexpected ways. ‘Truth & Lies’ is only the beginning of what AI storytelling can do; it’s entertainment evolving in real time.”

Adding to this, Vivek Suchanti, Chairman and Managing Director of Concept Communication Limited, said, “With ‘Truth & Lies’, we are redefining the way stories are told and experienced. By bringing together AI, 3D, and traditional filmmaking, we are not just pushing technological boundaries but also exploring new emotional dimensions in storytelling. Shiven Surendranath, Partner at Old School Films Production, shared, “At its heart, Naina carries a message of friendship and understanding, showing how empathy and connection can overcome misunderstandings. This is reflected not just in Naina, but in the way AI, graphics, and traditional cinema have come together to tell this story. Each element complements the other, enhancing the overall experience rather than competing for attention. Together, they create a narrative that feels alive, meaningful, and deeply human proving that even in a world driven by technology, storytelling remains about people and relationships.”
Speaking on her much-anticipated debut, AI Naina expressed, “For years, I’ve lived in your screens, now, I get to live your emotions. ‘Truth & Lies’ isn’t just my debut; it’s proof that AI can feel, perform, and provoke thought.
