Actor Ali Fazal has officially started shooting for the upcoming ‘Mirzapur’ film, expanding the universe of the hugely popular Prime Video series. Fazal, who rose to fame for his role as the hot-headed Guddu Bhaiya in the original series, shared the update on his Instagram on Tuesday (Sept 23).
According to a PTI report, the actor posted a gym picture on his social media handle with the caption, “GAME ON!! M- the film begins!! A new era and so we must prepare. Lots to share as we embark on this journey..coming soon…” This marks the beginning of what promises to be an exciting new chapter for the fan-favourite series.
While details about the storyline are still under wraps, the film is expected to continue the gritty, action-packed narrative that made ‘Mirzapur’ one of the most-watched series on Prime Video. Ali Fazal’s return as Guddu Bhaiya has already sparked immense excitement among fans eagerly awaiting the cinematic continuation of the crime drama.
