Producer Nikhil Dwivedi yesterday unveiled a new animated logo for his production house, Saffron Magicworks, marking eight years since the release of ‘Veere Di Wedding’, the first film of his producing career.
“More than a visual identity, the new logo is deeply personal. Featuring a cherished moment as the logo is a tribute to the passage of time, the generations that shape us, and the belief that while people may leave, their love, values and memories endure,” Dwivedi said in a press release.
Unveiled on June 1, the same day ‘Veere Di Wedding’ released in 2018, the logo marks both a celebration of the company’s journey and a reflection on everything that made that journey possible.
Speaking about the new identity, Dwivedi said : “1 June 2018. Eight years ago, my first film as a producer released. Today, on that same day, I unveil the new identity of Saffron. Built around a memory personal and dear to me.
“Some moments remain etched. Some outlive us. But life still asks us… to keep striving, keep building. ‘the sun rises’, every day. With or without us.”
That’s the thought behind this logo and the philosophy that drives Saffron Magicworks, he added.
Since its inception, Saffron Magicworks has backed stories across genres and formats, balancing mainstream entertainment with distinctive storytelling. After beginning its journey, features that followed included ‘Dabangg 3’, and later ‘CTRL’, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Ananya Panday, which received widespread critical acclaim.
