JioStar has been recognised at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026, securing wins in the categories of Digital Content Platform — India and Sports Broadcasting — for its technology-driven innovations in sports content operations and broadcasting.
The achievement was shared through a LinkedIn post update yesterday by the company by and highlights the firm’s continued investment in building advanced, in-house technology solutions designed to transform sports production workflows and enhance viewer experiences.
The recognition celebrates two key platforms developed internally by JioStar — SportsCentral, a unified sports content operations platform, and the Automated AI Cricket Highlights system. Both platforms have been designed to improve efficiency, scalability and speed across live sports operations.
SportsCentral serves as a centralised platform that streamlines end-to-end sports content workflows, enabling teams to manage operations more effectively across multiple sporting events and formats. Meanwhile, the Automated AI Cricket Highlights system leverages artificial intelligence to generate match highlights in real time, helping accelerate content delivery and improve audience engagement during live cricket broadcasts.
The awards underscore the growing role of technology, automation and AI in modern sports broadcasting, where media companies are increasingly focused on delivering faster, more personalised and scalable content experiences for viewers across platforms.
Sharing the achievement, the company acknowledged the contributions of its Sports Technology & Media Operations, Data Science, Sports Content Operations and Editorial teams, whose collaborative efforts played a crucial role in developing and implementing the award-winning platforms.
The recognition at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards further reinforces JioStar’s position as a key innovator in the media and sports broadcasting ecosystem, showcasing how technology-led solutions are reshaping content creation, distribution and audience engagement in the rapidly evolving sports media landscape.
