‘Campus Beats Returns’ is set to make a comeback with its sixth season, as Amazon MX Player drops the much-awaited trailer, promising a fresh mix of romance, heartbreak, and high-energy dance. The new instalment will stream for free from April 29, continuing the journey of one of the platform’s longest-running youth franchises.
According to an Amazon MX Player press release, the show returns after five successful seasons, building on its strong fan base with a narrative that takes a more emotional and layered turn this time. Produced by Banijay Asia, the series is written and creatively produced by Palki Malhotra and directed by Aniruddha Rajderkar.
The ensemble cast is led by Shantanu Maheshwari and Shruti Sinha, alongside Sahaj Singh Chahal, Dipankana Das, and Adnan Ahmed. The new season also introduces fresh faces including Paras Kalnawat, Chandni Sharma, and Suvansh Dhar, adding new dynamics to the storyline.
The trailer hints at a dramatic shift in the narrative, focusing on the evolving relationship between Ishaan and Netra. Just as their bond begins to stabilise, circumstances pull them apart, with Netra moving forward in life and finding a new connection, while Ishaan struggles to hold on. What follows is a layered mix of love, confusion, and changing relationships, where past emotions refuse to fade.
Alongside its emotional core, the series continues to deliver on its signature elements—high-voltage dance face-offs, simmering rivalries, and an undercurrent of mystery. As secrets begin to unravel and loyalties are tested, the story moves into a more intense space, blending romance with suspense.
Amogh Dusad, Head of Content at Amazon MX Player, noted that the franchise has grown into a standout youth property, with the new season pushing boundaries through deeper emotions and engaging twists. Lead actor Shantanu Maheshwari described Ishaan’s journey this season as more internal and intense, while Shruti Sinha highlighted Netra’s arc as one of rediscovery, filled with complexity and emotional conflict.
With its mix of drama, dance, and evolving relationships, ‘Campus Beats Returns’ is gearing up for its next chapter, aiming to strike a chord with viewers once again when it premieres later this month.
