Meta has introduced new tools for forum, its app designed to help users explore Facebook Groups and participate in community discussions. The new features aim to make it easier for group administrators to manage posts, moderate content and coordinate with moderators.
According to an official Meta announcement yesterday, Admin AI can now check pending posts against group rules and label them to indicate whether they are likely to follow or violate the rules. It can also help admins draft posts, which they can review and edit before publishing.
Admin Assist has also been updated to give administrators more control over automated moderation. They can create customised rules by combining conditions such as post length, link usage and previous moderation actions. However, administrators remain responsible for deciding what content is allowed in their groups, and all posts must follow Meta’s Community Standards.
Meta is also introducing insights tailored to different stages of a group’s growth, whether it is new, growing or well established. These insights will help administrators identify areas that need attention and decide what steps to take next.
The update also brings a shared content calendar to forum, allowing administrators and moderators to view scheduled posts and coordinate their work. Admins can use Admin AI to help draft and schedule up to five posts at once. They can also pin important comments, including answers, corrections and clarifications, to make them easier for members to find.
Additionally, forum’s Admin Home will provide regular updates about new Facebook Groups features, helping administrators stay informed about the latest tools.
Forum is available to download in the United States on iOS and Android. Users can log in with their Facebook accounts to access their existing groups and discover new communities.
