Ulti-Mate parenting founder turns down Rs.2cr offer on ‘Bharat Ke Super Founders’

Amazon MX Player’s entrepreneurial reality series ‘Bharat Ke Super Founders’ once again highlighted purpose-driven innovation this week, with a pitch that shifted the focus from technology and scale to a deeply personal issue—parenting. The episode stood out for its emotional depth as well as the conviction shown by a founder who chose vision over valuation, even with Rs.2 crore on the table.

According to an official press release, Satish Sirsagar and Amruta Jog, founders of Ulti-Mate Parenting, entered the pitch room with a simple yet powerful belief: that a child’s strongest influence should be their parent, not a screen or an algorithm. Designed for families with children aged between 3 and 13 years, Ulti-Mate Parenting is a bonding-first app that encourages parents to move beyond transactional interactions and build meaningful, everyday connections with their children.

At a time when nearly 40 per cent of children are facing mental health challenges, the platform seeks to address emotional well-being at its roots. Ulti-Mate Parenting transforms daily parent-child interactions into opportunities for trust-building, emotional intelligence, resilience, and life-skill development, positioning parents as a child’s true “ultimate mate” rather than passive observers in a digital-first world.

Demonstrating strong personal belief in the idea, Satish revealed that he has already invested Rs.95 lakh of his own money into building the platform, prioritising long-term impact over short-term revenue. He sought an investment of Rs.2 crore for 5 per cent equity, a valuation that reflected his confidence in the importance of early and consistent parental engagement.

The tycoons on the panel engaged deeply with the concept, questioning its scalability, monetisation strategy, and the challenge of driving behavioural change among parents. Shanti Mohan used her one-on-one card to better understand Satish’s long-term vision and the philosophy behind the product. While the panel appreciated the intent and relevance of the idea, no equity deal was finalised.

However, the pitch took a dramatic turn when The Market extended a Rs.2 crore acquisition offer for Ulti-Mate Parenting. Satish declined the offer without hesitation, reiterating that the platform is not just a product, but a movement he is committed to building with purpose and patience.

‘Bharat Ke Super Founders’ continues to stream exclusively on Amazon MX Player and is available for free on the MX Player app, the Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and Airtel Xtreme, with new episodes dropping every Friday and Saturday.
