Fever FM elevates Rohini Ramnathan, Hrishikesh Kannan in major leadership reshuffle

Fever FM has announced a significant leadership overhaul as part of its strategy to accelerate content innovation, digital expansion, and integrated brand solutions across the network.

In a major move, the company has elevated popular radio personality and content strategist Rohini Ramnathan to Chief Content Officer – Fever Network (Fever, Nasha & Punjabi Fever) and Creative Director – JustTooFilmy.

In her expanded mandate, Rohini will spearhead the network’s multi-platform content roadmap, strengthen video-led storytelling, and scale YouTube and digital initiatives—critical areas shaping the future of audio entertainment.

Her elevation is particularly symbolic, as she was the first voice on Fever FM when it launched in 2006, marking what she calls a “crazy professional arc.” Reflecting on her journey, she said, “It’s been such a privilege to work at HT Media, particularly with radio because nowhere within this industry have I seen such dynamism, the willingness to experiment and the will to be better.”

Alongside the announcement, Fever FM has promoted veteran broadcaster Hrishikesh Kannan (Hrishi K) to Chief Solutions Officer – Fever Network, while he continues serving as National Brand Head – Radio One International.

With three decades in radio and a reputation as one of India’s most awarded hosts, Hrishi K has played a pivotal role in branded content innovation, IP monetisation and integrated client partnerships. “Radio has undergone a tectonic shift,” he said, adding that the Fever Network has been ahead of the curve in transforming into a 360-degree content creation hub. “We still have many mountains to conquer, but I’m happy to lead this spirited and sharp team while keeping our partner brands happy along the way.”

The organisational changes follow the resignation of Sharat Bhattatiripad, National Brand Head – Fever, who is stepping down to pursue opportunities outside the organisation. Fever FM acknowledged his contributions to the network’s creative direction and brand growth.

Ramesh Menon, CEO – Radio & Entertainment, HT Media Ltd and Next Mediaworks Ltd, said the new appointments mark a decisive step forward. “As the content and audio landscape rapidly evolves, we are investing in leaders who can shape its future. Rohini and Hrishi bring exceptional creative and strategic depth, and their expanded roles will help us unlock new digital formats, strengthen our YouTube and video focus, and deliver integrated solutions for our partners.”

With this strengthened leadership structure, Fever FM is poised to scale its content universe, accelerate digital-first IPs, deepen audience engagement, and reinforce its position as a future-ready audio and entertainment network.
