Netflix yesterday announced the release of ‘Baramulla’, a supernatural drama-mystery set in the picturesque yet turbulent Kashmir valley. The film, starring Manav Kaul, is slated to premiere on the streaming platform on November 7.
According to a PTI report, the film is directed and written by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, known for his work on ‘Article 370’. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios in collaboration with Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios. ‘Baramulla’ is the second collaboration between Netflix and B62 Studios, following the success of the 2024 romantic comedy ‘Dhoom Dhaam’.
Set against the hauntingly beautiful backdrop of Kashmir, ‘Baramulla’ weaves a narrative that blends mystery, emotion, and the supernatural. The film explores themes of intrigue and suspense, anchored by Kaul’s compelling performance and the region’s evocative landscape, which becomes a character in its own right.
The collaboration with B62 Studios continues Netflix’s investment in regionally rooted, content-driven cinema that appeals to global audiences while celebrating India’s diverse storytelling traditions.
