As the festive lights begin to glow across India, ZEE5 has announced a special Diwali campaign titled ‘Iss Diwali, Sirf ZEE5 Par Plot Badlega… Ho Jao Ready!’ — an innovative celebration that blends the joy of the season with gripping storytelling. The platform’s new initiative, the Bharat Binge Festival, promises a line-up of high-energy, multi-language content and exclusive festive offers designed to make this Diwali an entertainment extravaganza.
According to a press release, ZEE5’s latest campaign draws inspiration from evolving viewer habits, revealing India’s growing appetite for engaging, genre-driven entertainment. While family dramas and romances have long dominated festive viewing, thrillers, mysteries, and crime dramas are now among the most-watched genres on the platform. The ‘Bharat Binge Festival’ seeks to capture this shift by curating stories that deliver surprise, intensity, and emotional punch — the true essence of binge-worthy entertainment.
Breaking away from conventional, feel-good festive narratives, the campaign reimagines Diwali as a festival of twists — a celebration of unexpected moments, thrilling turns, and powerful emotions. Through this unique storytelling approach, ZEE5 positions itself as the destination where “every plot changes” and every viewer finds a story that sparks curiosity and excitement.
To make the celebration even more rewarding, ZEE5 has rolled out special festive discounts from October 13 to 20. During this period, the Hindi content pack will be priced at Rs.149 (down from Rs.199), regional packs at Rs.59 (instead of Rs.99), and the All Access Pack at Rs.249 (regularly Rs.299). In addition, ZEE5 has partnered with Paytm and CRED to offer cashback benefits on UPI AutoPay and has bundled a three-month JioSaavn Pro trial with ZEE5 plans — extending the festive joy beyond just viewing.
The Bharat Binge Festival also brings an exciting line-up of premieres across seven languages — Hindi, Marathi, Bangla, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada — uniting India’s diverse storytelling traditions under one banner. Viewers can look forward to new releases like ‘Bhagwat Chapter One: Raakshas’, ‘Saali Mohabbat’, ‘Honeymoon Se Hatya’, ‘Sthal’, ‘Mrs Dasgupta’, ‘Kishkindapuri’, ‘Veduvan’, ‘Sumathi Valuvu’, and ‘Elumale’ among others.
