Red Bull India has announced ‘Red Bull Solo Legends’, the country’s largest-ever solo Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament. The event aims to spotlight individual talent in one of the nation’s most popular esports titles, offering players a grand stage to demonstrate their skill, strategy, and consistency at a national level.
According to a press release, ‘Red Bull Solo Legends’ will unfold through a multi-phase format featuring both online and offline stages. The tournament will bring together thousands of solo BGMI players from across India, ranging from grassroots participants to professional athletes. Players will compete in solo queues, progressing through multiple qualifying rounds before facing some of the biggest BGMI professionals in the grand finals. The ultimate winner will earn the title of India’s best solo BGMI player and win an exclusive Red Bull Racing international experience.
Red Bull Athlete Jonathan Amaral, popularly known as Jonathan Gaming, shared his excitement about the event, saying, “Every pro player’s journey starts from playing solo. When you’re on your own, you learn every role — from fragging and supporting to making calls and handling pressure like an IGL. Red Bull Solo Legends is the perfect stage to showcase those skills and prove what you can do without relying on a team. I’m really excited to see which players rise through the ranks to claim the title.”
The competition will also feature some of India’s most renowned BGMI professionals, including Jonathan Amaral (Jonathan Gaming), Tanishk Singh (Admino), Ashutosh Singh (Punk), Sahil Jakhar (Omega), Sohail Shaikh (Hector), Mohammed Owais Lakhani (Owais), Raghuraj Singh (Slug), Ammar Khan (Destro), and Aditya Dawar (Aadi). These top-tier players, known for their precision and gameplay prowess, will bring diverse strategies and styles to the battlefield, setting the stage for high-octane action.
Sharing his thoughts on the format, Sahil Jakhar aka Omega remarked, “Playing solo is the ultimate test of a player’s all-round abilities. You are responsible for every decision, from rotations to fights. Red Bull Solo Legends celebrates that individual brilliance and pushes players to adapt and innovate under pressure.”
The initiative further cements Red Bull’s deep involvement in India’s fast-growing esports ecosystem. The brand has consistently championed gaming through major properties like Red Bull M.E.O. (Mobile Esports Open), which features BGMI and World Cricket Championship, and through collaborations with leading esports organizations like GodLike Esports. Red Bull’s partnerships with top gaming creators — including ‘Techno Gamerz’ (Ujjwal Chaurasia), ‘Jonathan Amaral’, and Ankit Panth (V3nom) — reflect its commitment to nurturing gaming talent and expanding the esports landscape in India.
Adding to the excitement, professional gamer Owais said, “Solo competition truly tests how you adapt and make decisions under pressure. Every match demands focus — whether it’s surviving the zone, outsmarting opponents, or managing resources. This tournament will definitely bring forward hidden talent and give players the opportunity to prove themselves.”
Registrations for Red Bull Solo Legends are now open and will continue until October 31, 2025. Aspiring players can sign up at redbull.in/sololegends and follow Red Bull India on social media for all updates, announcements, and tournament highlights.
