Warner Bros. Discovery’s (WBD) adrenaline-fueled reality-adventure format ‘Reality Ranis of the Jungle’ is back with a power-packed Season 2, this time set against the raw and unpredictable backdrop of Goa’s rugged coast.
After a successful first season, the franchise raises the stakes with harsher terrains, bolder challenges, and an ensemble of fierce female contestants battling for survival.
Unlike the dense wilderness of Season 1, the new chapter throws its Ranis into the wild waves, treacherous sands, and unforgiving coastal stretches, amplifying both physical and psychological hurdles.
Guided by the energetic host Varun Sood, 12 contestants step into Goa’s unpredictable wilderness, including Archana Gautam, Bhavya Singh, Hiiya Bajwa, Irina Rudakova, Ishu Kashyap, Jayshree Roy, Nishu Kashyap, Prachi Shevgaonkar, Sanskruti Salunke (Sasa), Samyukta Hegde, Sara Gurpal, and Scarlett Rose. Each of them is challenged to push limits far beyond comfort zones — from surviving ocean plunges to mind-bending endurance tasks.
The thrill factor gets a shocking twist with Rakhi Sawant joining as a surprise guest, bringing her trademark unpredictability and drama to the mix.
Contestants are pushed through stomach-churning dares, including squeezing sheep eyeballs in their mouths, being buried underground, and even enduring the fear of being hung upside down. Alongside survival, the Ranis navigate emotional battles of trust, betrayal, and unexpected camaraderie — adding layers of drama to every episode.
Arjun Nohwar, Managing Director – South Asia, Warner Bros. Discovery, said,“Reality-Adventure has emerged as one of the most dynamic genres in entertainment today, combining spectacle with raw human stories. Reality Ranis of the Jungle is a perfect blend of bold entertainment and authentic storytelling — and this new season takes that connection to the next level. Our collaboration with Banijay Asia continues to bring stories that inspire, engage, and entertain.”
Echoing the excitement, Rishi Negi, Group COO, Banijay Asia & EndemolShine India, noted,“With Season 2, we are redefining adventure entertainment for Indian audiences. The rawness, unpredictability, and emotional depth this season brings makes it a must-watch. We’re excited to see how the contestants rise to the challenge and make their mark.”
Returning as host, Varun Sood highlighted the intensity of the new season,“Season 1 was unforgettable, but this time the environment is tougher and the competition fiercer. Reality Ranis of the Jungle captures transformation in its truest form — watching strong personalities face fear, doubt, and grueling physical challenges head-on. This season is bolder, scarier, and full of surprises.”
Ahead of the show’s launch, the cast participated in a Juhu beach clean-up drive, connecting with the show’s coastal survival theme and reinforcing its message of responsibility towards nature. The Ranis also made an appearance at NM College Fest Umang, where students recreated survival challenges in a high-energy celebration of grit and resilience.
This milestone season also coincides with Discovery’s 40th anniversary globally and its 30-year journey in India, reaffirming the platform’s legacy of delivering bold, disruptive storytelling.
With adrenaline, unpredictability, and unfiltered drama at its core, ‘Reality Ranis of the Jungle S2’ promises to leave viewers hooked — as India’s only all-women reality-adventure show pushes its contestants, and the genre itself, into uncharted territory.
