‘Bandish Bandits’ actor Ritwik Bhowmik is all set to step onto the big screen with his debut film ‘Abhootpurva’, a romantic horror-comedy announced by the makers on Saturday.
According to a report by PTI, the project is being backed by producer Khyati Madaan under the banner of Not Out Entertainment, which shared the announcement across its social media platforms. The film promises to blend elements of romance, humour, and supernatural intrigue in a unique narrative space.
“There are stories of incomplete love, then there are stories of one-sided love. There are stories of lovers who gave their lives, then there are stories of lovers who took lives,” the banner posted while unveiling the film’s title and concept, hinting at the unconventional storyline viewers can expect.
Bhowmik, who rose to fame with his lead role in Amazon Prime Video’s acclaimed musical drama series ‘Bandish Bandits’, is also known for appearances in shows such as ‘Mismatched’ and ‘Modern Love Mumbai’. With ‘Abhootpurva’, he now takes a significant step into feature films, marking a new chapter in his acting career.
