Cable TV distribution firm and broadband provider GTPL Hathway Limited, which yesterday announced its financial results for the FY26 first quarter ended June 30, 2025, said Q1 revenues crossed Rs. 900 crore or Rs. 9091 million, signifying an annual increase of seven percent.
The Q1 FY26 profit after tax stood at Rs. 105 million. Some operational highlights for the period under review are as follows:
Digital Cable TV
- Active subscribers were 9.60mn as of June 30, 2025.
- Paying subscribers stood at 8.90mn as of June 30.
- Subscription revenue from cable TV stood at Rs. 3018 mn for the period under review.
Broadband
- Increase in broadband subscribers by 20K Y-o-Y, thus total standing at 1050K.
- Broadband revenue increased by 1 percent to Rs.1359 mn for Q1 FY26 Y-o-Y.
- Homepass as on June 30 stood at 5.95 mn, which is an addition of 50K Y-o-Y. Of the 5.95Mn, 75 percent available for FTTX conversion.
- Broadband average revenue per user (ARPU) stood at Rs. 465 per month per subscriber, which is an increase of Rs. 5 Y-o-Y.
- Average data consumption per user per month was 410 GB, an increase of 17 percent Y-o-Y.
