NDTV Marathi, the flagship Marathi news channel of NDTV, is set to host the first-ever NDTV Marathi Entertainment Awards, a landmark event celebrating excellence across Marathi cinema, television, and OTT platforms.
The inaugural ceremony will take place on February 24, 2025, in Mumbai, marking a new chapter in honoring the vibrant Marathi entertainment industry, the news channel said in a press release.
Since its launch, NDTV Marathi has made significant strides in the regional news space, known for its in-depth election coverage and insightful political conclaves. Now, the channel is extending its commitment to Marathi culture by recognizing creative brilliance through these prestigious awards.
The NDTV Marathi Entertainment Awards 2025 will spotlight the best in:Cinema, Television, OTT Platforms.
The event will honor filmmakers, actors, content creators, and production houses that have significantly shaped Marathi storytelling.
The awards will be presented across Jury, Critics, and Special categories, ensuring a well-rounded evaluation of talent.
Film & Series Awards Include: Best Film; Best Director; Best Actor/Actress (Leading & Supporting); Best Story, Screenplay & Cinematography; Best Series & Direction in a Series; Best Music Album, Playback Singer (Male/Female), and Lyricist.
Television-Specific Categories: Best TV Show (Fiction & Non-Fiction); Best Actor/Actress in a TV Show; Best TV Show Anchor.
Critics’ Awards: Best Film; Best Actor; Best Actress; Best Director.
