On February 11, Bharat Express News Network marked its second anniversary with the grand ‘Naye Bharat Ki Baat – Delhi Ke Sath’ mega conclave in the capital, bringing together Union Ministers, MPs, police officials, artists, and thought leaders for a powerful dialogue on India’s progress.
The event witnessed a special congratulatory message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, commending the media organization for its role in fostering nation-building.
The conclave, inaugurated by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, was filled with insightful discussions, fiery debates, and cultural performances, celebrating Bharat Express’ journey as a credible news platform. Vaishnaw, while lighting the ceremonial lamp, raised the slogan of ‘Bharat Mata’, setting the tone for a discussion centered around India’s transformation. Adding a spiritual touch, singer Sadyant Kaushal performed Ganesh Vandana, elevating the event’s grandeur, the news network said in a press release.
In his message to Bharat Express, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the media’s pivotal role in the Amrit Kaal (the era of India’s development) and emphasized how journalism has not just documented history but shaped it. He acknowledged the significance of Bharat Express in bringing critical issues to the forefront, educating the masses, and contributing to India’s ambitious ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) vision.
PM Modi further underscored how India’s rapid advancements across sectors agriculture, startups, education, and healthcare are being amplified by responsible journalism. He expressed confidence that Bharat Express will continue to provide impactful narratives that inspire change, especially in the transformation of Delhi into a global capital.
The conclave welcomed an array of political leaders, legal experts, police officials, and cultural figures, all contributing diverse perspectives to India’s growth story. Among the notable speakers were:
Acharya Pramod Krishnam (Head of Kalki Dham) spoke passionately about Sanatan Dharma and the significance of Lord Kalki’s prophesied incarnation in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized that Sanatan Dharma is eternal and unshakable, making it an integral part of India’s spiritual identity.
Pushpendra Kulshrestha, a nationalist thinker, took a bold stance on India’s historical narrative, urging society to embrace truth over misinformation. He also raised concerns over the Places of Worship Act, 1991, calling it a threat to India’s democratic foundation.
Delhi Police Traffic DCP Shashank Jaiswal provided insights into the Delhi Police’s initiatives for smooth traffic management, prioritizing emergency vehicles like ambulances and school buses to minimize inconvenience.
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat praised PM Modi’s leadership, stating that even in challenging times, Modi has instilled hope and confidence in India’s developmental journey.
Bharat Express’ CMD and Editor-in-Chief Upendrra Rai took the stage to reflect on the role of media in shaping India’s socio-political landscape. He aligned with Pushpendra Kulshrestha’s views on India’s historical narratives, stating that Hinduism is over 11,000 years old, far preceding other faiths.
Rai further highlighted that Sanatan Dharma uniquely speaks about Moksha, whereas most religions focus only on concepts of heaven and hell. He reinforced that media should act as a bridge between truth and the people, ensuring that the nation stays informed and empowered.
In recognition of their contributions to society, Bharat Express honored Supreme Court Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, senior lawyer Vikas Singh, Ashwini Upadhyay, Dr. SK Sarin, Dr. SCL Gupta, and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat with special mementos. The event also saw musicians Akhil Sachdeva and Sagar, along with Bhojpuri singer Kalpana, being felicitated for their cultural impact.
