Indian cinema is set to witness a powerful cross-cultural collaboration as ‘My Melbourne’, an anthology directed by Kabir Khan, Imtiaz Ali, Rima Das, and Onir, gears up for its theatrical release in India on March 14, 2025.
Produced by Mitu Bhowmick Lange under the banner of Mind Blowing Films, the project brings together compelling narratives that bridge Indian and Australian cultures, shedding light on themes of race, gender, sexuality, and disability.
Having already made waves at film festivals in Melbourne and Mumbai, My Melbourne is a collection of four emotionally charged stories ‘Nandini’ by Onir, ‘Setara’ by Kabir Khan, ‘Emma’ by Rima Das, and ‘Jules’, led by Imtiaz Ali.
