With the Maharashtra Assembly elections approaching, NDTV Marathi is capturing the political climate across the state through its innovative initiative – NDTV Marathi Election Carnival.
This traveling property, featuring a live mobile truck, serves as both a stage and a studio, traveling over 5000 kilometers throughout Maharashtra to cover key constituencies. The truck transforms each location into a vibrant stage for engaging discussions and debates among local leaders, party workers, and citizens, the news network said in a press release.
The Carnival has already visited several key cities, including Nagpur, Chandrapur, Amravati, Sambhajinagar, Nashik, Beed, Nanded, Solapur, and Sangli. At each venue, local leaders from all top contesting parties come together on stage in front of a live audience. This format ensures that the voices of people from every corner of the state are heard, fostering transparency and engagement in the political process.
The show is helmed by prominent NDTV Marathi anchors – Vinod Talekar, Kavita Rane, and Rahul Kulkarni, who lead the debates with political parties, adding depth and interest to each discussion. The Carnival has created an interactive platform, inviting local political leaders, party workers, and residents to join discussions on key issues impacting voters in each region.
