Actress Pooja Hegde is set to reunite with Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay for his 69th feature film, as announced by the film’s production house, KVN Productions, on Wednesday. The duo previously worked together in Nelson Dilipkumar’s 2022 movie ‘Beast.’
KVN Productions shared the exciting news on their Instagram, posting, “Bringing the stunning duo back to the big screen once again… Welcome onboard @hegdepooja #Thalapathy69CastReveal.” Hegde, equally thrilled, shared her excitement on her Instagram stories, writing, “Yaaaaasss! Hoping to create magic once again with the one and only Thalapathy @actorvijay.”
The upcoming film will also feature Bobby Deol, who was recently confirmed as part of the cast. Directed by H Vinoth, the untitled movie is set for release in October 2025 across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. It is noteworthy that this will be Vijay’s last film before he transitions full-time into politics, having launched his political party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) earlier this year, with plans to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
Known for directing hits such as ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ and recent Ajith films like ‘Valimai’ and “Thunivu,” Vinoth is set to helm this highly anticipated project. The film will be produced by Venkat K Narayana for KVN Productions, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
Pooja Hegde, who was last seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,’ will also appear alongside Shahid Kapoor in her upcoming movie ‘Deva.’
