Netflix has officially announced that the highly anticipated film ‘The Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT), starring Thalapathy Vijay, will begin streaming on October 3. This announcement was made on Tuesday, generating excitement among fans of the acclaimed actor.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment, GOAT features Vijay in a dual role, showcasing his versatility as an actor. The film, which falls under the sci-fi action genre, had its worldwide theatrical release on September 5, PTI reported.
Netflix India shared the release date via its official Instagram handle, stating, “Ever seen a lion become a G.O.A.T?! Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T – The Greatest Of All Time is coming to Netflix on 3 October in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Hindi #TheGOATOnNetflix.” This multilingual release allows a wider audience to enjoy the film, catering to fans across different linguistic backgrounds.
In addition to Vijay, GOAT also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Prashanth, further enriching the film’s narrative with a talented ensemble cast.
Currently, Vijay is working on his 69th feature film, which remains untitled and is expected to be released next year.
