Disney and Pixar’s highly anticipated sequel, ‘Inside Out 2’, will make its streaming debut on Disney+ Hotstar on September 25. The film will be available in both English and Hindi.
Celebrated as one of the top animated movies of all time, ‘Inside Out 2’ has already garnered critical acclaim and immense success at the box office. It is certified ‘Fresh’ on Rotten Tomatoes™ and praised by critics as “absolute perfection, hilarious” (Jazz Tangcay, Variety) and “an unforgettable experience” (Landon Johnson, Awards Watch), the platform said in a press note.
The film has become the highest-grossing animated film of all time, reaching $1 billion globally faster than any other animated film. It currently ranks as the 8th highest-grossing film in global box office history.
‘Inside Out 2’ returns to the inner world of Riley, now a teenager, as her mind’s headquarters undergoes a sudden transformation to accommodate new emotions.
The original emotions—Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust—have been successfully managing Riley’s feelings until an unexpected visitor, Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, arrives. This new addition brings a host of unexpected changes, leaving the existing emotions unsure about how to handle the situation.
Returning voice cast members include Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. The film is directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen.
