JioCinema has issued an official statement addressing the circulation of a doctored video clip associated with Bigg Boss OTT.
The platform emphasized its strict adherence to programming standards and guidelines to ensure the quality and appropriateness of all streamed content. JioCinema clarified that the circulating video clip, which includes obscene content, is fake and altered.
A spokesperson for JioCinema stated, “We are committed to protecting the integrity of JioCinema and the trust our viewers place in us. The creation and circulation of this fake clip is a matter of very serious concern. Our teams are working towards identifying the origins of this clip and will initiate action against those responsible for creating and distributing such defamatory content against Bigg Boss OTT and JioCinema.”
The statement reassures viewers of JioCinema’s dedication to maintaining high standards and the authenticity of its content, underscoring that Bigg Boss OTT did not feature any such inappropriate material.
The platform is actively investigating the incident to hold accountable those behind the fabrication and dissemination of the misleading clip.
