Prime Video has announced the premiere of Ananya Panday’s highly anticipated series, ‘Call Me Bae’, set to stream from September 6.
Directed by Collin D’Cunha, the eight-episode series chronicles the journey of Bella ‘Bae’ Chowdhary, played by Panday, as she transitions from heiress to hustler, PTI reported.
The storyline follows Bella’s dramatic shift from a life of luxury to navigating the gritty newsrooms of Mumbai, where she learns to leverage her street smarts and style over her once-precious diamonds.
“Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self,” the makers said.
