Geeked Week 2023 saw Netflix amplifying its gaming catalogue, unveiling 10 new titles and extending well-known games to mobile platforms exclusively for its members.
Among the anticipated additions are Jonathan Blow’s ‘Braid: Anniversary Edition,’ Supergiant’s ‘Hades,’ Justin Stander’s ‘Katana Zero,’ and Acid Nerve’s ‘Death’s Door,’ all acclaimed titles soon to debut on Netflix.
The streaming giant introduced ‘Slayaway Camp 2: Netflix & Kill,’ the sequel to a popular puzzle game, exclusively available for members.
Additionally, Netflix teased interactive experiences within beloved universes, including ‘Shadow & Bone: Enter the Fold,’ ‘Money Heist,’ ‘Chicken Run: Eggstraction,’ and ‘The Dragon Prince: Xadia,’ promising new narratives and engagements with beloved characters.
The highlight of the event was the anticipated meeting of voice actresses from ‘OXENFREE II: Lost Signals,’ a sequel developed by Night School Studio, now part of Netflix’s gaming arm. Fans rejoiced at the insights and reactions shared by the actresses.
Available now are exclusive games like ‘Slayaway Camp 2: Netflix & Kill,’ ‘Shadow and Bone: Enter the Fold,’ and ‘Oxenfree II: Lost Signals for mobile, offering immersive experiences solely for Netflix members. Other upcoming releases include ‘Money Heist,’ ‘Chicken Run: Eggstraction,’ ‘The Dragon Prince: Xadia,’ ‘Death’s Door,’ ‘Katana Zero,’ ‘Hades,’ and ‘Braid, Anniversary Edition,’ set to enrich the Netflix gaming library.
Netflix emphasized that these additions, along with more than 80 other titles, are accessible worldwide to members without ads or in-app purchases, reiterating its commitment to offering diverse entertainment experiences across platforms.
