On Monday, Reliance Jio announced the launch of True 5G services in Andhra Pradesh.
5G services were launched in the districts of Tirumala, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Guntur.
State Information Technology Minister Gudivada Amarnath stated that 5G services will provide people with transformative benefits.
“In addition to their existing investment of Rs 26,000 crore, Jio has invested over Rs 6,500 crore in deploying a 5G network in Andhra Pradesh, demonstrating their enormous commitment to our state’s development,” the minister said.
Jio True 5G services will be available in every town, taluka, mandalam, and village in Andhra Pradesh by December 2023, he added.
Through the Jio Community Clinic medical kit and the revolutionary AR-VR device, Jio Glass, Jio demonstrated the benefits of 5G in the field of healthcare.
According to the IANS, these benefits will make a huge difference in the lives of people in Andhra Pradesh.
Dr. K.S. Jawahar Reddy, State Chief Secretary, stated that the launch of Jio’s True 5G services will open doors to growth opportunities in the areas of e-governance, education, healthcare, IT, and SME business.
According to a Jio spokesperson, the Jio True 5G network will be expanded across the state in a short period.
