The Discovery Channel’s new documentary series ‘Build India with Vaibhav Dange’ premiered last night in New Delhi.
The 12-part series examines the technology and methods used to build India’s man-made wonders.
The episodes are presented in a magazine-style format, introducing viewers to the process of planning and executing each project.
Through in-depth interviews, the show also brings to life the experiences and challenges faced by individuals and experts working in the field, according to UNI from New Delhi.
It will not only highlight the decision-making that has gone into the country’s most ambitious projects, but it will also explain their significance to India’s economy and security.
“From ground-breaking innovations to record-breaking marvels, the brightest Indian minds are reimagining the potential of the country’s abundant resources to change the face of modern India,” Union Minister Anurag Thakur said during the curation raising ceremony.
“Innovative engineering ideas are being implemented using cutting-edge technology to create a world-class infrastructural landscape that will accelerate India’s rise as a Superpower,” he added.
“These are unique stories about the passion to reshape India’s infrastructure. The stories showcase how excellent engineering, great human capabilities, and cutting-edge technologies are building New India,” said Vaibhav Dange, the show’s curator and one of India’s foremost infrastructure experts.
