Colors’ ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ (JDJ) season 10 has got its winners and they are Gunjan Sinha and Tejas Verma.
The judges presented the trophy and a cash reward of Rs. 20 lakhs to the victors and their choreographers Sagar Bora in the presence of special guests Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
Gunjan and her dance partner Tejas gave the other contestants a difficult fight despite being the youngest celebrity contestant.
They were the judges’ favorite from the start of the season due to their flawless first performance and were praised for the continuous feisty acts they performed.
All the competitors backed them wholeheartedly in their desire to see them triumph in the grand dance competition, the channel said in a statement.
Manisha Sharma, Chief Content Officer, Hindi Mass Entertainment, Viacom18, said, “As ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ returned after five years, we aimed to celebrate the journey of viewers’ favourite celebrities through dance. The illustrious panel of judges, exceptional performances by the contestants, and the roller coaster of emotions, definitely made the comeback of the show special.
“As we draw curtains on this memorable season, I would like to extend my special thanks to all the contestants for taking up this bold challenge and putting their best foot forward. Lastly, congratulations to the winner Gunjan Sinha and Tejas Verma for taking home the trophy.”
