Hulu subscribers will have even more channels to stream in their Live TV line-up.
The streaming platform announced it has added 14 new channels, including ‘Hallmark Channel’, ‘The Weather Channel’, ‘TheGrio Television Network’, ‘Comedy.TV’, and six channels from ‘Vevo’, the world’s leading music video network.
Currently, Hulu Live TV subscription includes more than 85 channels featuring live sports, and national and local news.
Commenting on the add up, Reagan Feeney, SVP, Live TV Content Programming and Partnerships, said, “We have been listening to our subscribers and are thrilled to bring some of their most requested channels to our service just in time for the holidays.”
“With these additions, Hulu + Live TV continues to be one of the most valuable live TV streaming destinations on the market, offering subscribers access to more than 85 live channels and entire on-demand content libraries from Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+,” Reagan added.
As per a press release, ‘The Weather Channel’ and ‘Comedy.TV’ were already launched on November 1 for Hulu pay-TV subscribers.
‘The Hallmark Channel’, ‘Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’, and ‘Hallmark Drama’ launched on November 14.
‘Vevo Pop’, ‘Vevo Hip-Hop’, ‘Vevo Country’, ‘Vevo 80’s’, ‘Vevo 90’s Vevo Holiday’, ‘JusticeCentral.TV’, ‘The Weather Channel en Español’ and ‘TheGrio Television Network’ will launch on December 1.
Last week, Hulu announced the streamer’s live TV service grew to 4.4 million total subscribers.
