Broadcasting Audience Research Council (BARC) 40th Week (2nd October – 8th October 2021) has released its report.
In India, Sun TV has regained the first spot in the top 10 channels across genres (All India 2+) replacing Star Plus which was the most viewed channel last week, the channel registered 2844.59 impressions. Followed by Star Plus and Star Sports 1 Hindi on second and third spot with 2788.88, 2609.43 impressions respectively.
Star Maa is still on the same fourth spot with 2484.13 impressions, where Star Vijay steps ahead on the fifth spot with 2027.51 impressions and Star Utsav has led back to the sixth spot with 1984.67 impressions respectively.
Colors have come on seventh spot with 1965.47 impressions, whereas Sony Sab led back to the eighth spot with 1863.21 impressions, alongside with Zee Telugu and Zee TV on the ninth and tenth spot with 1527.62 and 1458.82 impressions respectively.
In Hindi Speaking Market (HSM), Star Plus is still on the top five channels this week with 2699.67 impressions, alongside Star Sports 1 Hindi and Star Utsav on the second and third spot with 1980.69 and 1928.31 impressions. Colors and Sony Sab is in the fourth and fifth spot with 1928.31 and 1816.5 impressions respectively.
Sun TV has also led with the first spot in the South Market with 2838.24 impressions, followed by Star Maa, Star Vijay on the second and third spots with 2408.95 and 2025.45 impressions respectively.
Zee Telugu and Zee Kannada have remained the same with their fourth and fifth spots having 1482.92 and 1421.35 impressions respectively.
