Times Network joined the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) India Day Parade in New York to celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day. The annual event brought together members of the Indian American community and showcased Indian culture, traditions and heritage.

According to a Times Network press release from Mumbai today, the 2026 parade also marked a major achievement for FIA, which secured its third Guinness World Record.

More than 1,300 US flags were framed by the Indian tricolour to form the number ‘250’, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States alongside India’s 80th Independence Day.

Times Network has been associated with the FIA India Day Parade for more than a decade. This year, the network introduced a digital-first LED float instead of a traditional float. The float featured LED screens showcasing Times Network’s brands, promotions, new launches and its growing offerings in the US.

The brands featured on the float included Times Now, Times Now Navbharat, Zoom, ET NOW, Times Now World, Times Play and Pickleball Now, along with its digital properties under Times NowNews. com

The parade also featured performances by dancers from Shivaay, an Indian dance school in the US led by Rohan Virdi. Virdi, who is also a digital creator, delivered a special performance during the celebrations. Shivaay’s participation marked its fourth consecutive year of association with Times Network.

The FIA India Day Parade, which began 43 years ago as a celebration of the Indian diaspora, has grown into a major cultural event in New York. This year’s celebration combined Indian culture, entertainment and community participation with Times Network’s digital presence
