‘Slow Horses’ renewed for S8 on Apple TV

Apple TV has renewed its Emmy and BAFTA-winning spy drama ‘Slow Horses’ for an eighth season, with actor Gary Oldman returning as Jackson Lamb.

According to an Apple TV press release yesterday, season 8 will have six episodes and will be based on ‘Clown Town’, the ninth novel in Mick Herron’s ‘Slough House’ book series. Oldman will reprise his role as Jackson Lamb in the new season.

In Season 8, Jackson Lamb and Diana Taverner will face off following an attempt to blackmail the Park. Lamb will then try to uncover one of MI5’s darkest secrets.

The announcement comes ahead of the Season 6 premiere, which is set to stream on Apple TV from September 16. Season 7 was already announced last year, while the first five seasons are currently available on the platform.

‘Slow Horses’ follows a group of British intelligence agents working at Slough House, an MI5 department where agents are sent after making career-ending mistakes. Gary Oldman plays Jackson Lamb, the leader of the group. The series has won three Emmy Awards and five BAFTA Television Awards.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious.
