Star Plus unveils ‘India Ke Top 1%’ qawwali anthem

Star Plus has released a new qawwali style music video for its upcoming show ‘India Ke Top 1% The Anil Kapoor Show’. The anthem features megastar Anil Kapoor and has been choreographed by popular choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

According to Star Plus announcement from Mumbai today, the music video comes after the teaser of the show was released over the weekend. The new song adds a fun and energetic touch to the show and builds excitement among viewers.

Anil Kapoor said that the qawwali represents the energetic and entertaining spirit of the show. He added that ‘India Ke Top 1%’ is about how differently people think, with 100 contestants coming together to test their everyday thinking.

The actor also shared that performing a qawwali for the first time was a new experience for him. He praised Ganesh Acharya for bringing his signature style to the choreography.

The anthem also continues the show’s theme, ‘Baat Khatki Toh Jeet Pakki’, and aims to increase the buzz around the upcoming series.Produced by Banijay Asia, ‘India Ke Top 1% The Anil Kapoor Show’ will premiere on September 19 at pm on Star Plus and JioHotstar.
