Google has launched new AI features for Google Vids to make video creation and editing simpler. The update introduces Gemini Omni and personal AI avatars, helping users create professional looking videos with less time and effort.
With Gemini Omni, users can create a video by typing a simple prompt and adding reference images. According to a Storyboard report, the AI can also edit existing videos based on text instructions.
It can change backgrounds, improve lighting, add visual effects and make other changes without users having to edit the video manually.
Google has also introduced personal AI avatars. Users can create a digital version of themselves by uploading a selfie and a short voice recording.
After creating the avatar, they can simply type a script, and the AI avatar will present the video, removing the need to record a new video every time.
These new features are available for Google AI Pro, Google AI Ultra subscribers and eligible Google Workspace business users.
Google said all AI-generated videos will include an invisible SynthID watermark, making it clear that the content was created using AI.
