‘Outer Banks’ S5 tops Netflix global chart

Netflix has highlighted the global success of its hit series ‘Outer Banks’, which has built a strong fan base since its debut in 2020.

According to a Netflix press release yesterday, Season 5 debuted at No. 1 on the Netflix Global Top 10 and entered the Top 10 in 74 countries. This is the fourth time the series has opened at No. 1.

Since its first season, ‘Outer Banks’ has recorded more than 400 million global views. The first four seasons have also spent a combined 20 weeks on Netflix’s Global Top 10.

The series follows a group of friends known as ‘The Pogues’ as they take on treasure hunts and adventures. The show stars Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Drew Starkey, Jonathan Daviss, Madison Bailey and Carlacia Grant.

Netflix also said the series has had an impact beyond streaming, including on tourism, music, fashion and fan culture. Season 5 is the final season of ‘Outer Banks’ and is now streaming on Netflix.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
