October heralds the arrival of the festive season, bringing joy and celebrations that everyone looks forward to. In perfect alignment with this spirit, Zindagi DTH has lined up popular family shows, offering a diverse mix of gripping dramas and light-hearted comedies.
This October, viewers can indulge in an array of content that includes classic favourites, feel-good dramas, and short films, making Zindagi DTH the ultimate destination for family entertainment, the media company said in a press statement.
Kicking off the month, Zindagi DTH introduces ‘Thays’, an emotional drama airing daily at 6 pm. This heartfelt story features Junaid Khan, Hira Mani, and Farah Shah, and revolves around Rubab, whose love for Asher is tested by her manipulative mother, Zehra, leading to heartbreak as the characters navigate misunderstandings in their quest to reunite.
Additionally, the channel presents ‘Jhoothi’, premiering daily at 9 pm. Starring real-life couple Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain, this comedic drama follows Nirma, a young woman entangled in a web of lies while pursuing her dreams. Fans of ‘Suno Chanda’ will be delighted to know that both Seasons 1 and 2 will return starting October 14 and October 29, respectively.
Adding to the celebration, viewers can look forward to two new short films, ‘Naam Kya Rakha’ on October 13 and its sequel ‘Naam Kyu Rakha’ on October 27. These films explore love, societal pressures, and the true meaning of friendship, filled with engaging moments that resonate with viewers.
Other highlights include ‘Kuch Ankahi’, premiering on October 10, starring Sajal Aly, Bilal Abbas Khan, and Sheheryar Munawar; ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’, featuring Humayun Saeed and Ayeza Khan, launching on October 23 and ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’ on October 29, starring Wahaj Ali, Hania Aamir, and Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz. The classic ‘Humsafar’ starts airing every Sunday starting October 6, starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.
‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ and ‘Suno Chanda’, which captured the hearts of audiences during their original airing in India in August and October 2023, are making a return due to their immense popularity. Both series have garnered significant love from audiences across the country, and the lead actors have expressed their gratitude for the support.
