ZEE5, India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform, has officially announced the return of the psychological drama series ‘Mithya’ for its highly anticipated second season, following the success of the first. The show intricately explores the tumultuous relationship between two half-sisters, laden with themes of ambition, betrayal, and revenge.
Directed by Kapil Sharma and produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Rose Audio Visual Production, the upcoming season promises to deliver even more intensity. Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dasani reprise their roles as the complex half-sisters, with notable performances also from Rajit Kapur and Indraneil Sengupta. New to the cast is Naveen Kasturia, whose mysterious character is expected to spice up the narrative even further.
The second season delves deeper into the complex and dysfunctional relationships of all major characters, as tensions escalate and stakes reach new heights. ‘Mithya’ S2 is set to premiere soon on ZEE5.
