Zee TV is all set to tug at the heartstrings of its viewers with its latest fiction drama ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’, a poignant and layered love story that questions societal boundaries and redefines connection in the most unconventional way.
Premiering on July 7, the show will air daily at 8.30 pm and promises to explore the complexities of a modern-day relationship between two very different individuals—Anu, a 19-year-old middle-class girl, and Aryavardhan, a 46-year-old self-made business magnate.
The channel shared its excitement about the new addition to its primetime lineup under the brand philosophy ‘Aapka Apna Zee TV’. Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed Zee Kannada show ‘Jothe Jothiyali’, this Hindi remake is produced by Studio LSD Pvt. Ltd. and brings together a compelling story enriched with emotion, layered characters, and societal introspection.
Sharad Kelkar returns to television after eight years in the role of Aryavardhan, a man of grace, intellect, and humility—whose grounded values belie his enormous success. Speaking at the show’s launch, Kelkar reflected, “I began my career with Zee TV, and returning after 16 years feels like coming back home. Tumm Se Tumm Tak is unlike anything I’ve done on television before—emotionally intense, quiet yet powerful. It’s a role that challenges and excites me at the same time.”
Essaying the role of Anu is the young and talented Niharika Chouksey, who brings warmth, resilience, and emotional depth to the character of a girl wise beyond her years. “Playing Anu has been a heartfelt experience,” she said. “She’s sincere and emotionally grounded, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with Sharad sir and such a dedicated team so early in my career.”
The show’s official launch was more than just a promotional event—it was a celebration of love in all its forms. Attendees shared personal stories of companionship, followed by a soul-stirring music video featuring Anu and Aryavardhan and an AV screening that gave the audience a first glimpse into the emotional universe of ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’.
As ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’ unfolds on Zee TV, it promises to take the audience on an emotional ride through the maze of love, societal expectations, generational divides, and personal courage. Will Anu and Aryavardhan’s bond withstand the world’s judgement, or will it fall prey to the pressures of tradition and age?
