Zee Cinema is set to air the world television premiere of ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ this Saturday, November 30, at 8pm. The film, directed by the acclaimed Neeraj Pandey, takes a fresh approach to the romantic thriller genre, exploring the complex and emotional life of a former convict.
The story follows Krishna, a double-murder convict released after serving more than two decades in prison, who reconnects with his lost love, revealing the painful truths behind his crime. Themes of longing, sacrifice, and love permeate the narrative, presenting an intense and heartfelt journey.
Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who have a long-standing history of successful collaborations, bring depth and intensity to their roles. Devgn, portraying Krishna, describes the film as a character-driven story of resilience and inner strength.
“This film brings together intensity, action, and layered emotions. Krishna’s journey is shaped by love and loss, and it’s a story of fighting for what matters,” said Devgn. “It was an incredible experience working with Neeraj and Tabu, and I’m excited for audiences to watch it at home.”
Tabu, who plays Vasudha, describes her character as strong yet emotionally vulnerable, offering a portrayal that stays with viewers long after the film ends. “Vasudha is resilient but carries emotional vulnerability, which shapes her choices. I hope audiences connect with the depth of her journey,” said Tabu.
In addition to the leads, ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ features strong performances from Shantanu Maheshwari, Saiee Manjrekar, and Jimmy Shergill, whose characters bring fresh layers to the story.
