The much-anticipated action film ‘Azaad’, starring Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, and debutants Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani, just released its teaser.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, known for hits like ‘Kai Po Che’ and ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Azaad’ promises a grand spectacle set against the historic Battle of Haldighati.

In a social media post, Kapoor described the teaser with: “Har jung mein, har bahadur yodha ke saath, ek wafadaar ghoda zaroor raha hai.” The film dives into the legendary tale of Maharana Pratap, who led a valiant force of eight to nine thousand against a mighty enemy of 40,000. The teaser highlights Pratap’s renowned horse, described as “tall as an elephant” and “quick as lightning”, a symbol of loyalty and agility.

‘Azad’ is also notable for introducing Aaman Devgan, Ajay Devgn’s nephew and Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, to Bollywood. Ajay Devgn shared the film’s poster on Instagram, captioning it, “Kahaani yaari ki. Kahaani wafadaari ki. Kahaani #Azaad ki!”

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, along with Abhishek Nayyar and Abhishek Kapoor, ‘Azaad’ is set for a grand release in cinemas in January 2025.
