According to reports, YouTube is testing its Queue system feature for iOS and Android apps.
According to ANI, the feature has been available for several years on the web and is available in YouTube apps under certain conditions.
When the feature is enabled, users will notice a new “Play last in queue” button in the three vertical dots menu on video thumbnails.
Users can add the video to the bottom of their queue by tapping it, or they can create a new queue if they are not currently watching one.
According to the report, once the video users are watching ends, the app will begin playing the next video in the queue and continue until they run out.
Furthermore, if users close the player, either by quitting the app or by tapping the “x” button, the queue will be deleted.
Users can manually enable the feature by tapping on their profile picture in the top right corner, going to Settings, then Try new features, then scrolling to “Queue” and tapping the “Try it out” button.
The test will be available until January 28, according to the report.
YouTube announced earlier this month that it will now show an estimated time for how long it will take to process users’ uploads so that they can decide when to publish it.
