Elon Musk‘s X is gearing up for major enhancements to its AI chatbot, Grok, in a bid to elevate user experience and functionality within its platform.
According to insights from researcher Nima Owji, these updates could revolutionize how users interact with X.
One of the standout features in the pipeline is a dedicated pop-up window for Grok, akin to the sidebar seen on Copilot PCs, facilitating seamless access to information while browsing X. This move aims to enhance user convenience and streamline information retrieval.
Furthermore, Grok may soon offer advanced capabilities such as account research, enabling users to gain insights into user profiles with the click of a button. This feature underscores X’s commitment to leveraging AI for personalized user experiences.
In another innovative stride, X is exploring an in-app Grok search feature, similar to Google Gemini, allowing users to query Grok directly from highlighted text within X posts. This integration aims to deepen engagement and empower users with instant information access.
These developments underscore X’s strategic efforts to fortify its position amidst rising competition, including from platforms like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini. By expanding Grok’s functionalities, X seeks to enhance its Premium Plus plan offerings and cater to a broader base of users.
