Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has announced the return of the Professional Fighters League (PFL) to India, as part of an exclusive multi-year broadcasting partnership.
Eurosport India, WBD’s premium sports channel, will bring fans around 28 live MMA events, including the highly anticipated ‘PFL Road to Dubai Champions Series’ scheduled for January 25, 2025.
This exciting deal will provide Indian fans access to PFL’s premium programming, including marquee events like the 2025 PFL World Tournament, regional leagues such as PFL Europe, PFL MENA, and PFL Africa, and exclusive content including iconic matchups, pay-per-view events, and behind-the-scenes footage. Fans will also experience the advanced SmartCage technology, which provides unparalleled fighter analytics, enhancing the thrill of each event.
The partnership highlights the growing popularity of MMA and its evolving landscape, with the PFL’s innovative single-elimination tournament format making it one of the most exciting leagues in the world. In 2025, the PFL World Tournament will feature eight weight classes, 64 top-tier fighters, and a prize pool exceeding $20 million, ensuring high-octane action throughout the year.
As part of the global expansion, PFL will also make its debut in Dubai with a landmark event at the iconic Coca-Cola Arena on January 25, 2025. The night will feature a major title fight—Dagestan vs. Ireland 2, with undefeated Russian fighter Usman Nurmagomedov facing off against Irish star Paul Hughes for the Bellator Lightweight Title.
This partnership strengthens WBD’s commitment to delivering world-class sports content to Indian audiences, further cementing PFL’s position as a leading global MMA league. Fans across India can now enjoy thrilling fights, exclusive content, and in-depth analysis, all available on Eurosport India.
