Warner Bros. Discovery has announced the launch of ‘India: Epic Wild Stories’, a new documentary anthology on Animal Planet that showcases India’s rich wildlife and biodiversity through the stories of leading Indian wildlife filmmakers.

According to a Warner Bros Discovery press release, the series premiered on July 29 with the six-part documentary ‘Shared Spaces’, which explores the relationship between humans and wildlife across India’s forests, mountains, coastlines and grasslands.

Hosted by environmental journalist Bahar Dutt and filmed by award-winning wildlife filmmaker Vijay Bedi, ‘Shared Spaces’ highlights stories of communities, conservationists and animals adapting to a changing environment.

Following this, the anthology will feature more wildlife documentaries including ‘Wild Kashmir’, ‘My Otter Diary’ and ‘Turtle Walker’, each focusing on different landscapes, species and conservation efforts across India.

Warner Bros. Discovery said the series aims to bring authentic Indian wildlife stories to audiences while promoting awareness about nature conservation and the importance of protecting ecosystems.

Through ‘India: Epic Wild Stories’, Animal Planet continues its focus on premium factual entertainment by highlighting local filmmakers and India’s diverse natural heritage.
