Warner Music India has partnered with SVF Entertainment to strengthen its presence in the Bengali music industry and help regional artists reach a wider audience.
The partnership combines Warner Music India’s global music network with SVF Entertainment’s strong position in the Bengali entertainment industry. the two companies aim to promote Bengali music not only across India but also in international markets.
According to a Warner Music India press release, SVF Entertainment is one of the biggest names in Bengali entertainment. over the past three decades, the company has produced more than 180 Bengali films and built a large music catalogue featuring some of the region’s most popular artists and soundtracks.
Through this collaboration, Bengali singers, musicians and creators will get greater opportunities to reach listeners worldwide. the partnership will also focus on promoting film soundtracks, original music and new talent from the region.
Jay Mehta, managing director of recorded music and publishing for India and SAARC at Warner Music, said Bengal has played a major role in shaping India’s cultural and musical heritage. He added that the partnership with SVF will help take Bengali music to a global audience and further strengthen Warner Music’s commitment to regional music in India.
SVF Entertainment co-founder and director Mahendra Soni said the company has spent the last 30 years supporting Bengali artists and storytelling. the partnership with Warner Music India will help Bengali music reach more listeners across different regions and countries.
The collaboration is part of Warner Music India’s larger strategy to expand its presence in regional music markets. the company already works across South Indian, Punjabi, Haryanvi and Bhojpuri music, and its entry into the Bengali market marks another important step in its growth across India.
Industry observers believe the partnership could open new opportunities for Bengali artists and help regional music gain greater recognition on the global stage.
