Indian comedian and actor Vir Das is set to star in the upcoming OTT series ‘Call Me Bae’from Dharmatics, the digital arm of Dharma Productions, after announcing his largest world tour to date.
The comedy-drama series is expected to be a slice-of-life one, and it will debut on Amazon Prime Video India.
‘Call Me Bae’ is a story of a billionaire fashionista who is shunned by her wealthy family due to a lewd controversy. In the show Das will share the screen with Ananya Pandey and Gurfateh Pirzada, PTI reported.
‘Call Me Bae’‘s creators and director have made sure to capture the essence of modern relationships while providing a relatable and enjoyable storyline.
The show has already wrapped up filming, and by the year’s end, the series should be available to stream.
