The Advertising Club has officially unveiled a stellar lineup of Jury Chairs for the highly anticipated ABBY Awards 2025 powered by One Show, bringing together some of the most respected names in advertising and creative communication. Prateek Bhardwaj, Minakshi Achan, Shashank Chaturvedi (aka Bob), and Priya Shivakumar have been selected to lead the jury panels across four major categories — Brand Activation & Promotion, Branded Content & Entertainment, Video Craft, and Still Digital respectively.
The announcement was made through an official press release by The Advertising Club, ahead of the grand Goafest 2025 event, which will host the ABBY Awards on May 21–23 at Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage and Horizon. The appointments underscore a strong commitment to creative excellence and integrity in evaluating the best in Indian advertising.
Leading the Brand Activation & Promotion category is Prateek Bhardwaj, Chief Creative Officer at Lowe Lintas. With more than 24 years of creative leadership and a decorated career that includes prestigious honours such as the Cannes Lions Grand Prix, Jay Chiat Awards, and a Black Pencil at D&AD, Prateek brings unmatched credibility. His body of work — from Sprite’s irreverent messaging to the poignant Nescafe campaign featuring a stammering comedian — has consistently redefined storytelling in Indian advertising.
Minakshi Achan, currently spearheading Brand & Communication at JioStar, takes charge of the Branded Content & Entertainment category. With a rich career spanning over 30 years, Minakshi’s expertise traverses advertising, fashion, and entertainment. Since joining JioStar in 2016, she has shaped the brand’s creative narrative across its streaming, sports, and entertainment platforms, offering a unique blend of consumer insight and strategic storytelling.
Stepping into the Video Craft jury chair is Shashank Chaturvedi, better known as Bob, the award-winning director and co-founder of Good Morning Films. Bob, a self-taught filmmaker and one of the most sought-after names in Indian advertising, has been at the helm of campaigns for Cadbury, Thums Up, Titan, and Mahindra, among others. He was the first Indian filmmaker to win two Gold Lions at Cannes and a One Show award for cinematography — achievements that speak volumes of his artistry and vision.
In the Still Digital category, the jury will be helmed by Priya Shivakumar, the newly appointed Creative Head – South at DDB Mudra. Formerly with Wunderman Thompson, Priya has built a formidable reputation as a brand storyteller who harnesses emotion and craft to deliver compelling narratives. Her career is adorned with accolades from Cannes, One Show, and D&AD, and she has served on several global juries. With an eye for nuance and the courage to break conventions, Priya brings a fresh creative voice to the table.
The ABBY Awards, in partnership with One Show since 2023, continue to raise the bar for Indian advertising, blending international standards with local brilliance. As excitement builds for Goafest 2025, the appointment of these distinguished jury chairs is a clear signal of the calibre and creative rigour expected at this year’s awards.
