The ever-expanding cop universe of director Rohit Shetty welcomes a new member, as actor Tiger Shroff joins the cast of the much-anticipated film ‘Singham Again.’
Known for his roles in movies like ‘Heropanti,’ the ‘Baaghi’ series, and ‘War,’ Shroff is set to take on the character of ACP Satya, a Special Task Force officer.
Rohit Shetty, the man behind the cop-centric cinematic universe, announced on Instagram, sharing photos of the actor and writing, “Meet Special Task Force officer ACP SATYA… the immortal, like Truth! Welcome to the squad…Tiger.”
Tiger Shroff also took to Instagram to express his excitement, stating, “ACP Satya reporting on duty Singham sir. #SinghamAgain., PTI reported.
Ajay Devgn, who plays the iconic character Singham, welcomed Tiger Shroff to the team, stating, “The squad just got stronger, welcome to the team ACP Satya!”
‘Singham Again’ marks the third installment in the successful ‘Singham’ series, which began with the 2011 hit ‘Singham’ and was followed by ‘Singham Returns.’
These films, along with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ (2018) and ‘Sooryavanshi’ (2021) starring Akshay Kumar, collectively form Rohit Shetty’s cinematic cop universe.
Deepika Padukone has also joined the cast of ‘Singham Again,’ portraying the character of police officer Shakti Shetty, described as the “most brutal and violent officer of our cop universe.”
Ranveer Singh is set to reprise his role as Sangram Bhalerao, also known as Simmba, while Kareena Kapoor Khan returns as Avni Kamat.
The addition of Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone promises to make ‘Singham Again’ a highly anticipated addition to the successful cop franchise.
