The popular comic series ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show,’ hosted by Kapil Sharma, is set to return for its second season on September 21, Netflix announced on Wednesday. The news was shared via a video announcement posted on Netflix’s social media handles, PTI reported from Mumbai.
In a fun caption, Netflix wrote, “Fun se aapke Shanivaar ko Funnyvaar banane hum aa rahe hai 21st September se. Get ready to watch ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ har Shanivaar Funnyvaar sirf Netflix par!”
The celebrity chat show, which debuted on Netflix in June this year, features various stars from Bollywood and beyond. The first season included appearances by Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Diljit Dosanjh, cricketer Rohit Sharma, and international singer Ed Sheeran.
Alongside Kapil Sharma, the show also stars Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur.
The series originally premiered in March, and the upcoming season promises more laughter and star-studded episodes, exclusively on Netflix.
