Prajato Guha Thakurta, co-founder and CCO of Manja has been chosen by the Abby One Show Award 2023 Governing Council to chair the jury for the category of Brand Activation & Promotion.
Projo has worked for roughly 18 years in some of the top creative agencies in the nation, including McCann, JWT, and DDB Mudra, where he has shaped brands like Barclays, Lee Cooper, Stayfree, Pears, The Economic Times, Smirnoff, and Nokia, among others.
He was forced to shorten his name the day he started advertising.
His most recent position was as National Creative Director at Leo Burnett, where he fostered the agency’s creative culture and helped make it one of the most celebrated offices in the nation.
He represented companies there like McDonald’s, Jeep, Google, Bajaj Auto, Isuzu, Abbott, and PhonePe in his portfolio.
His work has garnered him numerous accolades throughout the years, including those from Cannes Lion, D&AD, One Show, Adfest, Spikes, and Effies.
“I am beyond thrilled to be a member of the Brand Activation & Promotion Jury at the Abby One Show Awards,” says Prajato. It’s safe to say that this is one of the most fascinating categories, and I’m particularly looking forward to witnessing work that is great, courageous, and incredibly immersive.
In addition to his work in advertising, he is a set-piece specialist for a fourteenth-division football team, a set-piece enthusiast, a trained classical pianist, a burgeoning organic farmer, a hands-on dad to two children, and a voracious reader. The Abby Awards will be presented during Goafest 2023 on May 24, 25, and 26.
