Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan turns 60 on November 2. And, Tata Play Binge is rolling out the red carpet for the superstar’s fans with a special curation of his most iconic films.
As one of India’s most celebrated and internationally recognised actors marks six glorious decades of life, Tata Play Binge invites viewers to relive the magic, romance and charisma of SRK through a film lineup truly fit for royalty.
According to a press release from DTH service provider Tata Play, this weekend’s celebration will honour the actor’s unmatched legacy, featuring some of his most memorable performances that have defined generations — from the grit of ‘Chak De! India’ and the romance of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ to the timeless magic of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.
The platform promises a nostalgic and heartfelt tribute to the man who continues to reign as the heartbeat of Indian cinema.
In ‘Chak De! India’, Shah Rukh Khan shed his romantic image to portray Kabir Khan, a disgraced hockey player turned coach, with a performance that remains an anthem of grit, unity, and redemption. Meanwhile, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, directed by Karan Johar, brings back the iconic college camaraderie of Rahul, Anjali, and Tina in a story that defined 90s romance.
Then there’s ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, an all-time classic that turned Raj and Simran into household names and cemented SRK’s position as the undisputed King of Romance.
But the lineup doesn’t stop at love stories. In ‘Karan Arjun’, Shah Rukh Khan joined forces with Salman Khan in Rakesh Roshan’s tale of brotherhood, revenge and reincarnation — a film that showcased his action prowess and emotional depth.
The list concludes with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Devdas’, where SRK delivered one of his most powerful and tragic performances as the doomed lover Devdas Mukherjee, torn between love, pride and destiny.
To make the celebration even grander, Tata Play Binge offers viewers seamless access to all these titles across multiple OTT platforms under a single subscription. The platform brings together over 30 streaming apps — including Disney+ Hotstar, ZEE5, BBC Player, Apple TV+, Lionsgate Play, MX Player, aha, Sun NXT, and many more — allowing users to explore a world of entertainment without juggling multiple passwords or subscriptions.
